FOOTREFLEXOLOGY MASSAGE -
Mens sana in corpore sano
What is footreflexology massage?
Foot reflexology involves applying pressure to specific reflex points on the foot. These points correspond to organs and areas of the body. The treatment is intended to produce a healing response and relieve discomfort.
Reflexology is one of the most popular types of massage. Apart from the beneficial effects of the treatment, the method and its purpose go beyond the skin and muscles.
Differences between footreflexology and foot massage
These two treatments may seem similar, but there are some important differences.
Foot massage involves manipulating the tissues to relax the muscles, release tension and improve circulation. This can improve overall health and well-being.
Reflexology, on the other hand, restores the flow of energy in the body through targeted pressure point massage. The treatment usually focuses on the feet, but can also include the hands and ears.
What are the benefits?
Through repeated pressure and manipulation of nerve endings, reflexology can help clear blocked energy channels. It is said to get the flow of blood, nutrients and nerve impulses moving. This ultimately improves overall health and balance.
